The DCW Alliance is a volunteer committee promoting high-quality training for Direct Care Workers in Arizona. The DCW Alliance communicates with government agencies, the community and DCWs regarding policy, training, curriculum, and other related issues. With the help of committee members, we work to bridge the gap between the needs of DDD/ID community and Direct Care Workers.
Nicole is the Training Manager at VALLEYLIFE, an organization supporting people with disabilities. She began her career with VALLEYLIFE in 2007 as a Direct Care Worker and prides herself on having “done the job”. Since 2012, in her role as instructor/facilitator, Nicole has trained over 1,200 learners in the DCW curriculum and has over 7,000 hours of facilitator experience. Pursuing her passion, Nicole, presented an original leadership training program at the 2014 SSCIP conference, lead an original “Working with Children with Autism” seminar at the 2016 After School Excellence Conference, and is co-chair of the I-AADAP Communication and Policy Committee. Nicole is excited to support Arizona DCW’s and Providers by bringing her experience and commitment to the Direct Care Workforce Alliance.
Alison Pattison, Ed..D. is the Chief Executive Officer of Arizona Provider Training (APT) and is an active participant in the DCW Alliance Curriculum Committee. Dr. Pattison has focused her passion for excellence in teaching and learning both in her work in adult education and in the classes she teaches. She has written numerous curriculum programs to maximize student learning, both online and face-to-face. Additionally, her teaching background consists of fifteen years of elementary teaching and high school counseling in both Arizona and Louisiana. She has worked in both the public and private sector with students of diverse backgrounds. Dr. Pattison has served on many boards and is currently serving on the Elderly and Physically Disabled Providers Alliance (EPDPA).
Director of Operations of All Valley Home Health Care & Nursing. He has been working in the Home Care Industry for more than eleven years. Since 2010, he has been the Director of Operations for All Valley Home Health Care & Nursing. All Valley Home Health Care & Nursing is a family owned and operated company that has been in Arizona since 2002. He also works with Archway Training which provides DCW Training, 1st Aid and CPR certifications for employee candidates looking to work with All Valley Home Health Care & Nursing. Keffory has been on the Board of Directors with the Arizona In-Home Care Association since January 2016.
Becky has a background of being an EPD provider, a Direct Care Worker trainer, and an in the field caregiver. In addition, she has a masters degree in Aging Service Management from USC Leonard Davis School of Gerontology. She was the Alzheimer’s Impact Movement’s ambassador to Senator McSally, (the lobby arm of the Alzheimer’s Association).
Becky strive to keep an open perspective when considering going-forward strategies that work for the AHCCCS, the MCOs, the provider, and the Direct Care Workers and Direct Support Professionals.
Her commitment to the community is to work on finding solutions that serve all stakeholders, to raise the level of training, promote this industry facing a work force shortage, and openly communicate our efforts to the community to be inclusive and build synergy.
Gina Judy is the president and owner of Gina Judy LLC.
She completed her doctoral studies in Organizational Leadership and possesses a Masters of Arts in Organizational Management and Psychology. For more than 30 years, Gina successfully held Chief Operations Officer roles in large, complex not-for-profit social services organizations of 1,000+ employees.
